The Donaldson DFPRE is a more efficient, compact and cost-effective filtration solution that helps maintain continuous production processes.

 

 

FULLY ASSEMBLED AND READY FOR USE

 

DFPRE dust collectors are compact units that are supplied assembled and ready to plug in. Shipping, transport and installation of this product is really easy.

 

 

EASILY ADAPTABLE MODULAR DESIGN

 

The DFPRE series is designed to perfectly match the unique operational needs of the customer and is easily adaptable to the production process.

 

  • Configurations for outdoor or indoor installation;
  • 50 litre quick-release or hanging dust collection bins with the option of plastic bags for more convenient disposal of collected contaminants;
  • 80 litre or 200 litre cylindrical dust collection tanks with shut-off valves so that the cleaning of the tank does not need to stop the filtration system;
  • Accessories for compressed air quality monitoring and pressure setting;
  • Integral spark trap or cyclonic separator;
  • Full range of exhaust fans;
  • Hepa secondary filter elements;
  • Configurations for use with explosive dusts and ATEX certified versions;
  • IFA W3 certification according to DIN EN ISO 21904:2020;

 

 

COMPACT AND SPACE-SAVING

 

The design of the new generation of filter elements allows for a larger filtration area and therefore fewer elements. The reduced number of elements not only allows for a more compact filtration unit, but also reduces maintenance and operating costs.

 

 

HIGHER FILTRATION PERFORMANCE

 

The DFPRE series incorporates the latest innovations from Donaldson, including an improved downflow design, triangular filter elements and market-leading Donaldson nanofibre filter fabrics for maximum filtration performance.

 

 

 

The DFPRE series has a nominal airflow of 1500 to 15000 m3/h*.

* Airflow depends on dust type and other parameters.

 

 

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

  1. Dust or fumes from the generating source are interrupted and fed into the primary separation module, which effectively mitigates the following problems: reducing the concentration of interrupted pollutants, minimizing the abrasive effect of particles, reducing the risk of sparks and fires, and ensuring an even distribution of the air flow;
  2. The polluted air is pulled by a fan into the filtration module, where, thanks to the downward flow system, heavier particles are immediately dropped into the dust collection tank;
  3. The air then passes through filter elements – cartridges – which effectively trap the remaining particles of pollutants, allowing only clean – purified – air to pass through. An advanced automatic pulsed compressed air shake system ensures effective shake-out of the elements, extending their lifetime and reducing energy consumption and operating costs;
  4. The purified air is discharged through an air outlet to be recirculated indoors or exhausted outdoors. In certain situations, HEPA secondary filtration is used to ensure maximum indoor air quality.
