The main Donaldson filter materials used in cartridge filters:
- Ultra-Web nanofibre technology catch even sub-micron-sized dust particles on the surface of the fabric, preventing them from penetrating inside. This ensures easy cleaning of the collected particles, unparalleled filtration efficiency and twice the filter lifetime.
- Ultra-WebFR® – technology with the same filtration efficiency, but with the addition of a more Flame Retardant fabric.
- Ultra-Web Conductive FR® cartridge filters provide excellent filtration, but are additionally impregnated with carbon and are used where electrostatic charges may build up.
- Ultra-Web SB® is made of Spunbond polyester coated with nanofibre and is used in the presence of abrasive dusts, harsh chemicals and humidity.
- Thermo-Web is a synthetic material designed to withstand high temperatures – specifically developed for the chemical industry and high temperature processes.
- Fibra-Web® is a special technology of high-efficiency cartridge filters designed to trap filamentous, fibrous particles that tend to bond together.
- Torit-Tex is a special Donaldson technology fabric with a state-of-the-art ePTFE membrane for excellent particle retention. Recommended when maximum cleaning efficiency is required. Excellent in wet, hygroscopic or agglomerative dust.
- Cellulex™ filters offer improved performance thanks to a unique combination of fibre sizes and more even fibre distribution.
Donaldson cartridge filters are also available in standard filter fabrics:
- Standard polyester;
- Anti-static polyester;
- Mixed at 80/20;
- Mixed at 90/10 and more resistant to scorching;
- Standard, mixed 80/20, with Fine Fibers;
- Standard Cellulose Flame Retardant with Fine Fibers.
