The fabric of the filter press is a key element in determining the efficiency and duration of the filtration process. The correct selection of the fabric according to the material to be filtered, the pressure and the temperature allows the right quality of filtrate to be achieved and the filtration elements to be used for as long as possible.
Filter press fabrics – individual selection for each process
We offer a wide range of filter press fabrics for all types of filter presses. We select the right type of material, weave and fabric construction to ensure a smooth filtration process and the longest, most efficient service life.
- Polypropylene – versatile, acid and alkali resistant, suitable for many industrial processes
- Polyester – resistant to high temperatures, abrasion and deformation
- Polyamide (PA 6.6, PA 11, PA 12) – particularly suitable for aggressive environments
- Cotton is a natural material suitable for the food industry
Fabric construction and fixing options
Depending on the mass to be filtered and the design of the press, the filter press fabrics can be:
- Monofilament, multifilament or combined
- Double layer – improves fluid drainage and protects the main filter element
- With sewn base for extra protection and longer life
- With different fasteners according to the press design – adhesive tape, loops, edge and neck sealing
