Description
Bag-type filter elements made of 100% synthetic polypropylene, polyester or nylon type fabric.
Bags for liquid filtration shall be made of 100% synthetic polypropylene, polyester or monofilament nylon fibres. Only high quality materials are used to ensure efficient and consistent filtration and a long service life.
The use of bags in liquid filtration processes is very widely used and highly recommended when large quantities of solid or fine particles need to be collected.
Polypropylene, polyester and nylon materials comply with FDA food contact regulations under CFR21, Section 177.1520.
Liquid filter bags trap contaminants not only on the surface of the fabric, but also in the porous layers through which the liquid flows. Depth filtration is commonly used in a wide range of sectors, from the chemical-pharmaceutical to the food, beverage and cosmetics industries.
Technical data:
| Filtration material | Cell (ɥm) | Size** | Fixing ring |

| TE = PTFE (Teflon) |
- The S- and SS-ring (galvanised or stainless steel) is sewn to the open opening of the filter bag.
- The V-ring is made of polypropylene (PP) and is either sewn or ultrasonically soldered.

IMPORTANT: Although the performance data given for the filter fabrics is based on laboratory testing, it should not be taken as a guarantee that the results will be the same for all applications. Actual performance may vary depending on the type of contaminant, fluid properties, flow rate and environmental conditions. In most cases, we provide customers with free samples of filter fabrics to allow for preliminary testing and to determine which product best suits their needs.
