Description
PANEL FILTER ELEMENTS
Plate filter elements (also known as panel filters or flat filters) are pleated filters for industrial air filtration applications.
Suitable for Donaldson Unicell and other manufacturers’ filtration units using plate elements. The compact design ensures a large filtration area and high efficiency.
Technical characteristics of plate filter elements
The plate filter elements are manufactured using advanced filtration materials adapted to different industrial processes:
- Spunbond polyester – resistant to mechanical stress and abrasive dust
- Ultra-Web® nanofibre technology – efficient retention of fine particles (sub-micron)
- ePTFE membrane – for wet, sticky or hygroscopic dust
DONALDSON ULTRA-WEB® TECHNOLOGY
Ultra-Web® is an advanced nanofibre technology that traps even sub-micron dust particles on the surface of the fabric.
The patented Ultra-Web® technology is standard in all Donaldson filter elements.
- Highest filtration efficiency
- Up to 2 times longer lifetime
- Lower energy and compressed air consumption

Plate filter elements – advantages
These filter elements offer high efficiency and durability in industrial filtration processes:
- Up to 3 times the filtration area compared to filter sleeves
- Stronger than most filter cartridges
- Efficient trapping of fine dust particles
- Longer service life
- Lower pressure losses
Where plate filters are used
Plate filters are used in a wide range of industrial processes that require efficient dust filtration:
- metalworking
- welding and thermal cutting
- Woodworking
- transport and dosing of bulk materials
- chemical and food industry
Plate filter elements for various manufacturers
The panel filters we offer can be applied to Donaldson and other manufacturers’ dust filtration units that use this type of filter.
WAM, Infastaub, Herding, Nederman, Camfill, etc.
We select the right dimensions, fixings and filter materials for the specific equipment and working conditions.
Selection of plate filter elements
When selecting filters, it is important to consider the type of dust, particle size, humidity and operating conditions, which will determine the filter’s efficiency and service life.
- Quick selection by equipment
- Solutions based on specific dust, smoke or fog
