Many filtration units can be fitted with Donaldson pleated sleeves instead of standard sleeves.
This type of element increases the total filtration area by a factor of 2 to 3, significantly reducing the filtration load and pressure losses, as well as making it easier to shake off the collected dust.
Donaldson pleated filter sleeves are manufactured using Donaldson’s patented Ultraweb fabrics, which are coated with a nanofibre coating that traps even sub-micron dust particles on the surface of the filter fabric.
