The main Donaldson filter materials used in cartridge filters:
- Ultra-Web nanofibre technology traps even sub-micron-sized dust particles on the surface of the fabric, preventing them from penetrating inside. This ensures easy shaking off of the collected particles, unparalleled filtration efficiency and twice the filter lifetime.
- Ultra-WebFR® – technology with the same filtration efficiency, but with the addition of a more puncture-resistant fabric.
- Ultra-Web Conductive FR® cartridge filters provide excellent filtration, but are additionally impregnated with carbon and are used where electrostatic charges may build up.
- Ultra-Web SB® is made of Spunbond polyester coated with nanofibre and is used in the presence of abrasive dusts, harsh chemicals and humidity.
- Thermo-Web is a synthetic material designed to withstand high temperatures – specifically developed for the chemical industry and high temperature processes.
- Fibra-Web® is a special technology of high-efficiency cartridge filters designed to trap filamentous, fibrous particles that tend to bond together.
- Torit-Tex is a special Donaldson technology fabric with a state-of-the-art ePTFE membrane for excellent particle retention. Recommended when maximum cleaning efficiency is required. Excellent in wet, hygroscopic or agglomerative dust.
- Cellulex™ filters offer improved performance thanks to a unique combination of fibre sizes and more even fibre distribution.
Donaldson cartridge filters are also available in standard filter fabrics:
